High tech for health

Orthopaedics and rehabilitation technology in particular are increasing in importance and are the focus of the Federal Government’s high tech strategy. In the field of orthotics, for example, the aim is to develop intelligent orthotic devices and customised orthotic joints based on lightweight structural designs. In precisely this area we are able to build on our many years of experience in fibre-reinforced composites and use our knowledge to support an increase in mechanical stability or reduce the weight. We therefore have only one aim in mind - to enable the optimised, customised mobility of a person with restricted mobility by using better materials and systems.
